The ongoing violence and uproar in Jiribam district of Manipur is showing no sign of stopping. Now in the latest case, a protestor has died in a clash with security forces, which has created a situation of tension. Actually, the protesters were vandalizing a property, during which a young man was shot dead by the security forces. Police have also confirmed one death, but it is not known who fired the shot. Eyewitnesses say that the bullet was fired from the security personnel.

The deceased has been identified as K Athauba, who was around 20 years old. The uproar continues in Jiribam after women and children were kidnapped and murdered.
