Traffic Jam Prayagraj: Due to the crowd of devotees coming from Mahakumbh Prayagraj, vehicles gathered on Sunday. People struggled with jam everywhere. Mirzapur-Prayagraj highway was in the grip of jam day and night. More than four lakh vehicles passed from the roads of the district in 24 hours. People were stranded everywhere.

Due to the flow of Mahakumbh, where a new record of darshan-worship was made in the Vindhyachal temple, then there was a record of vehicles passing through Mirzapur district. In 24 hours, the figure of vehicles going to Prayagraj and coming from there crossed four lakhs. Due to this, there were queues of vehicles day and night on the Prayagraj-Mirzapur highway. In such a situation, it took people hours to travel a few kilometers.
The queues of vehicles continued uninterrupted from toll plaza to Ojhla in Vindhyachal, Natwa in front of Ojhla, Semford School, Shastri Bridge to the old fence of Chilh.
IG RP Singh, SSP Somen Burma, ASP Operation OP Singh, Traffic in -charge Vipin Pandey were busy handling the traffic system. The maximum number of vehicles were from Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Bihar, Gujraj, Bengal, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand. Buses coming from Nepal were also stuck in jam.
