Prayagraj Traffic Police issues traffic advisory for Kumbh Mela

Kumbh Mela 2025: Prayagraj Police has issued traffic advisory for Mahakumbh. In the order issued by the Additional Police Deputy Commissioner Traffic, it has been said that in view of Maha Kumbh 2025, the first bath on Paush Purnima on January 13 and the second bath on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on January 14 will be closed from 6 am on January 12 till January 15 for big commercial vehicles. Entry will be completely restricted. As per the instructions given earlier, all types of passes will be cancelled.

  1. Vehicles of devotees coming from Jaunpur route will be parked at Sugar Mill Parking Jhunsi and Puresurdas Parking Garapur Road via Sahso.
  2. Devotees coming from Varanasi will be parked at Shivpur Ustapur Parking, Patel Bagh, Kanha Motors Parking from Kanihar Railway Under Bridge to reach the fair area.
  3. Access from Mirzapur road to Devrakh Uphar and Saraswati Hi Tech parking will be allowed.
  4. Vehicles of devotees coming from Rewa route will be parked at Naini Agriculture Institute and Nav Prayagam parking.
  5. Devotees coming from Kanpur route will be parked at Nehru Park and Air Force Maidan parking.
  6. Devotees coming from Lucknow route will have to come to Bela Cachar and Bela Cachar 2 and park their vehicles.
  7. Devotees coming from Pratapgarh route will be asked to park their vehicles till Beli Kachar and Bela Kachar 2.
  8. Devotees coming from the old city will be able to do ECC degree college parking and inter college parking. Devotees coming from MG route will park their vehicles at CMP Degree College and KP Ground.
  9. Devotees coming from urban areas will be able to park their vehicles at Colonelganj Inter College and Muslim Hostel Ground. Devotees from urban areas will be parked at Baghada Parking IRT Parking via Hasimpur Bakshi Dam.
  10. Devotees coming from Shiv Kuti and other urban areas will be parked at Nageshwar parking via Uptran intersection.
