Dry borewells and dry wells lying open at various places in the state are becoming a cause of danger for the people.
Not only children but also adults can become victims of serious accidents by falling into these potholes.

All agencies are making every effort – SDRF
- SDRF SI Ravi Kumar said that every possible effort is being made to rescue the girl.
- Earlier such operations were usually carried out by the Army, but currently NDRF and Civil Defense have adequate resources available.
- At present, all the agencies are putting their full efforts in the rescue operation.

Kotputli Borewell Accident Live: Chetna in the pit of death, did not even eat or drink anything; Problems being faced in rescue
Three and a half year old Chetna, trapped in a 700 feet deep borewell in Kotputli, Rajasthan, could not be pulled out even after 20 hours. Due to wet soil of the borewell, rescue is facing problems. Although oxygen is being supplied to Chetna, it is a matter of concern that till now she has not eaten or drunk anything. There is a problem in the rescue due to a problem with the camera installed in the borewell. However, the rescue team has expressed hope that Chetna will be rescued soon.
