Hammer used
Although the police have not officially disclosed the order of incidents, it is suspected that Afan first murdered his grandmother Salma Biwi (88) at his house in Pangode near Venjaramudu. When Afan went to Salma Biwi’s house, he also took a hammer with him. He killed Salma Biwi and then went to Latif and Sajita’s house in Chulalam. It is suspected that after the murder of Latif and Sajita, the accused took his brother Afsan home from school. Sources also believe that he had earlier brought Farzana to his house. He then allegedly attacked his mother first, then attacked his brother and his girlfriend.
