First Vande Bharat Train from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Railway Station Katra to Srinagar
Srinagar: Indian Railways has started the trial run of the first Vande Bharat train from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Railway Station Katra to Srinagar. Its video has also surfaced. The train will also pass through Anji Khad Bridge which is India’s first cable-stayed rail bridge and Chenab Bridge, which is the highest railway bridge in the world. The train has been specially designed according to the cold climate of Kashmir Valley.
It is noteworthy that Vande Bharat trains are known for their speed and facilities. In this, better care is taken of the comfort and safety of the passengers. Its speed is so fast that it takes the passengers to their destination quickly. Vande Bharat trains going from Delhi to Katra are very much liked by the passengers.

New Delhi-Katra Vande Bharat Express covers the distance of 655 km between Delhi and Katra in 8 hours and 5 mins. This train stops at Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana Junction, Pathankot Cantonment and Jammu Tawi. This semi-high-speed train was developed by Chennai-based Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and was inaugurated on October 3, 2019.
