Bangladesh has set a target of 229 runs to win in front of India with the help of Tauheed Hrdoy’s century and Zakir Ali’s half -century. Batting first after winning the toss, Bangladesh’s situation was bad at one time and lost five wickets for 35 runs, but Zakir and Hardoy took over Bangladesh’s innings in a brilliant partnership. With the help of these two innings, Bangladesh managed to score 228 runs in 49.4 overs. Heardoy returned to the pavilion after scoring 100 runs with the help of six fours and two sixes off 118 balls.
The bowlers led by Mohammed Shami performed brilliantly for India. Shami took five wickets in the match, while Harshit Rana got three wickets and spinner Akshar Patel got two wickets. Shami also completed her 200 wickets in ODIs during this period. Apart from Tauheed for Bangladesh, Zakir scored 68 runs off 114 balls with the help of four fours.
