The report claims that this dislike button of Instagram will look similar to Reddit’s downwot button. This button will be used to dislike the post as well as the reels. At the moment you can only like on a post. Instagram users will not be able to dislike it if the post is not liked.

META is currently testing this feature of its social media platform with some beta users. In such a situation, this feature may take some more time to arrive.
Some users expressed protest
However, some netizers have also protested against this upcoming feature of Instagram. Users say that after the introduction of this feature, Instagram will think 100 times before commenting on the creators post and there may be fear that no one can disclose that comment. META is currently doing this feature test for its photo and video sharing platforms. In the coming time, it can also be added to other social media platforms of Meta such as Facebook.
