SP Rural Sagar Jain of Saharanpur says that the victim is a resident of Saharanpur, we have registered a case against her husband, brother -in -law, sister -in -law and mother -in -law under Section 307 of IPC. Apart from this, sections of 498A, 323, 328 and 406 have also been imposed on the accused. He says that he married his daughter with full custom in February 2023. About 45 lakh rupees were spent in the wedding. The groom was given a sub compact SUV and Rs 15 lakh cash in dowry. But after this, the in -laws started demanding Rs 10 lakh cash and a big SUV. Due to which the daughter started being harassed a lot. After harassing the house on 25 March 2023, the woman was sent back to the in -laws on the decision of the panchayat. But when the demand for dowry increased more, he took HIV -infected injection to his daughter -in -law, taking disgusting steps.
