Minister of State for Sports Raksha Nikhil Khadse appreciated the Odisha government for establishing a world -class infrastructure at the Kalinga Stadium and said that such facilities will be laid the foundation for the future champions of the country. He said that such facilities are important to make India ‘sports superpower’. During his two -day visit to the capital of Odisha, Khadse said, “With facilities like Kalinga Stadium, we are laying the foundation for future champions that will make the country proud.” These centers are important for the government’s approach to making India a sports superpower. ”
During his visit, Khadse visited the Kalinga Stadium campus where he reviewed the working style of three high performance centers (HPC) dedicated to the development of players in the state. Khadse visited Abhinav Bindra Targeting Performance Center (ABTPC), Naval Tata Hockey High Performance Center and Dalmia Bharat Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy.
