This could be just a coincidence or a well-thought-out plan, but such coincidences have rarely happened in the Hindi entertainment world. Producer Ekta Kapoor’s documentary drama film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ on Godhra incident is in theaters and producer Danish Khan’s web series ‘Freedom at Midnight’ is on Sony Liv OTT. There are two different streams of thoughts in both. ‘The Sabarmati Report’ has been praised by both the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. The web series ‘Freedom at Midnight’ has probably not been seen yet by the Congress leaders whose conflicts just before independence have been brought before the audience in a very polite but innovative manner. It is very important for the new generation to see this.
