There has been a big disclosure in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) report on the stampede at New Delhi railway station on Saturday night. The initial investigation has revealed heavy negligence. The Railway Police of Delhi Police conducted the initial investigation, its copy is with Amar Ujala.
The report said that a stampede incident occurred at New Delhi railway station at around 10.00 pm on the night of 15 February. According to the report, the crowd was high at platform number 12, 13, 14, 15,16. Due to this, the roads on these platforms were completely jammed.

It is reported that there was a huge crowd of passengers on platform number 14, which was waiting for the train going to Prayagraj. At the same time, a large number of passengers had gathered to board the Freedom Fighter Express from New Delhi to Darbhanga on platform number 13.

The train was running late and was re -determined to depart at midnight, due to which the passengers stayed on the platform. In such a situation, the crowd on both platform number-14 and 13 platforms continued to grow.

The roads leading to the platform were closed
The report said that at eight o’clock on Saturday night, the platform number 12 of Shivganga Express left, after which there was more crowd of passengers on the platform. Due to this, the routes from platform number 12 to 16 were completely jammed.

Tickets were being sold more
The report said that in addition, railway officials were issuing about 1,500 normal tickets per hour for Prayagraj. Due to this, more passengers gathered on platform number-14. Due to this huge crowd, there was barely left to stand on the platform. Along with this, the railway team was also asked to stop selling tickets.
