A fake picture claiming to be Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s palace is going viral on social media. In the picture, PM Modi is seen wearing a luxury watch while many luxurious items are kept in the showcase behind him.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supporters are claiming that this is a picture of the PM’s residence where many such luxury things are present. BOOM fact checked and found that the viral picture was created with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

On searching keywords related to the viral picture, we did not find any reliable report related to it on Google.
After this, on looking carefully at the viral picture, we saw a watermark of Grok AI placed at the bottom right corner of it. This confirms that the picture is AI generated.
Some discrepancies were also seen in the viral picture like the frame of PM Modi’s glasses is not complete and deformities are also visible in the fingers of his hands.
We investigated the viral image on AI detector tool Hive Moderation, where the probability of it being AI generated was said to be 98.5 percent.
