New Delhi. Preparations for actor-musician Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Dil Luminati India Tour 2004’ concert in Delhi have been completed. Dosanjh’s ‘Dil Luminati’, one of the biggest concerts of the year, will be held in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. The concert marks the singer’s return to India after the stupendous success of his shows in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
The doors of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the national capital with a capacity of 60 thousand spectators will open for the spectators at 5:30 pm on Saturday evening. A huge crowd of fans is expected to gather to witness the unique energy and star power of one of India’s most popular artistes. This will be a special gift from Dosanjh for Delhi, because he will be performing here not for one, but for two consecutive days.
Made plans for the second day after the tickets for the first show were sold.
A second date was added after tickets for the first show sold out within minutes. Its tickets are also almost sold out, only lounge tickets are available, priced between Rs 32,000 to Rs 60,000. Organized by Ripple Effect Studios and Saregama India and with tickets sold through Zomato Live, the concert has already broken records. It became the fastest-selling and highest-grossing concert event in Indian history.
Diljit Dosanjh will do shows in these cities
Dosanjh has given hit songs like ‘Jatt Da Pyaar’, ‘Raat Di Gedi’, ‘Patiala Peg’, ‘Do You Know’, ‘5 Tara Theka’ and ‘Lembadgini’. He announced his arrival in Delhi in a post on Instagram on Friday. Dosanjh (40) shared a video in front of the stadium in another post on Saturday and wrote, ‘Today’s preparations have been completed.’
In view of Dosanjh’s concert, Delhi Traffic Police on Friday issued an advisory for the general public. “In view of Diljit Dosanjh’s live concert ‘Dil Luminati’ being held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26 and 27 and the huge crowd gathering, appropriate arrangements have been made to maintain smooth traffic,” police said on Twitter.
The Delhi concert is the beginning of Dosanjh’s series of concerts in 10 cities across India this year. He will perform in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata and other cities and his tour will conclude with a concert in Guwahati on December 29.
