Summons of Dhruv Rathee:
After filing a case against Dhruv on 7 July, District Judge Gunjan Gupta issued this summons on 19 July 2024. According to the defamation case, Dhruv Rathee had posted a video on the same day, titled – ‘My reply to Godi YouTubers | Elvish Yadav | Dhruv Rathee’. This video has received 27,457,600 views and more than 25 lakh likes till 7:20 pm on 24 July.
Nakhua says Rathee had called him a violent and abusive troll in a video.
The video was made to insult the dignity
In the defamation petition, Suresh Karamshi Nakhua said that Mr. Rathee claimed in his video that PM Modi hosted trolls like Ankit Jain, Suresh Nakhua and Tajinder Bagga in his office who spread violence and spoke abusive things about others.
The petition further said that in this video Nakhua has been shown as having violent tendencies without any reason, that too just because the Prime Minister also follows him. Therefore, it is clear that this video has been made to tarnish the reputation of Nakhua in the eyes of the people.

Dhruv Rathi’s intention behind making the video was deceitful
The petition in Nakhua also said that Mr. Rathee’s video was extremely provocative and inflammatory. It spread like wildfire on all digital platforms. In this, he made big and baseless claims against Nakhua. His intention behind this video was deceitful. In this video, he claimed without any basis that Nakhua is in any way associated with violent and abusive troll activities.
