How To Detect Lung Cancer: In the last few years, the number of lung cancer patients has increased rapidly across the world including India, but now good news related to it is coming out. Researchers claim that they have developed a device that will be able to detect lung cancer effectively. After this new research, it is believed that this technology will easily detect lung cancer. Due to which the patient’s life can be saved. This new technology has been discovered by researchers from China and Spain. Through this, metal mounted sensors will be used.
Nanoflakes made of platinum, indium and nickel
It is being claimed that the sensor used in it is a thousand times thinner than a human hair, which is known as Nanoflex. This nanoflakes has been prepared by mixing platinum, indium and nickel. Also, it has been made in such a way that humans will be able to detect lung cancer easily.
How will this technology work?
However, scientists are not sure where isoprene comes from in the body or why… In rare circumstances some people do not expel it. In this study, scientists found that the level of the chemical in the breath of lung cancer patients was lower than that of cancer-free people.

The sensor can measure isoprene in a person’s breath with an accuracy never seen before. In this, experts have to work with a measurement known as parts per billion. In recent research, researchers have detected levels of isoprene as low as 2 ppb, which is equivalent to separating 2 seconds over a 32-year timescale.

Scientists used the device to analyze 13 breath samples in a study published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. It was observed that isoprene levels in lung cancer patients went below 40 ppb, while in cancer-free individuals its levels were more than 60 ppb.
