Students protest against leaking of BPSC exam
In Bihar’s capital Patna, candidates created ruckus on Friday over the question paper in the 70th BPSC examination. Candidates created a ruckus in Bapu Examination Hall in Patna. During the examination itself, the candidates came out with the question paper and OMR sheets. The rumor of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) preliminary exam question paper being leaked spread at an examination center on Friday. After this, the Commission has warned of police action against those involved in this conspiracy.
Paper leaked on social media!
About 300-400 candidates boycotted the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024 of BPSC held at Bapu Examination Center in Kumhrar, Patna. His allegation was that the question paper was leaked on social media even before the commencement of the examination. As soon as Bapu said this, there was chaos at the examination centre. Where the Additional Examination Superintendent named Ram Iqbal Singh died due to heart failure and a female candidate became unconscious.
No paper was leaked from any center – Commission
On the allegations of paper leak in the 70th combined examination of BPSC, Commission Chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai said, ‘The talk of paper leak is absolutely wrong. No paper has been leaked from any centre. The commission will investigate each and every question arising regarding the exam.
Some candidates spread rumor of paper leak
Parmar said, ‘No one has complained to us about paper leak. The people of the commission had gone to the centre. While talking there, it was understood that some candidates spread rumors that the paper has gone viral. Started creating ruckus inside the candidates centre. Snatched the paper and went out. Rest of the people were also instigated. How can a paper go viral without mobile and without internet? Along with this, he said that there will be an investigation into the late receipt of question paper. On what basis has the DM said that less questions will be received? Don’t know, there were sufficient number of questions.
CCTV footage will be examined
Commission chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai said, ‘At a center in Patna, some candidates snatched question papers from invigilators and walked out of the examination hall shouting that the paper had been leaked. Snatching question papers from invigilators and showing them to outsiders is tantamount to looting public property. Police action will be initiated against these people, who appear to be working as part of a conspiracy. We are examining the CCTV footage to identify them,’
Exam will not be canceled – Commission
He said, ‘Mobile phones were not allowed inside the examination centre, then how did these candidates know about the rumors of question paper leak? There is definitely a conspiracy at work. The police is investigating the matter There is no question of question paper being leaked. The examination will not be cancelled, which is being demanded by some people with vested interests.
