“Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has prepared an army of retired officers, due to which the development of Bihar is not going to happen.” Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav said these things to the journalists. Tejashwi Yadav workers reached Sheikhpura under the Darshan cum Samvad program. While talking to journalists, Tejashwi Yadav lashed out at the Bihar government. He said that at the behest of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, there was lathi charge by the police on the candidates who were agitating regarding the 70th BSC examination, which is very unfortunate. At the same time, he also cornered the government on the paper leak issue and took a dig at the entire paper leak issue. He said that Nalanda mafias are involved in any paper leak incident. He said that he is not blaming the district but action should be taken against the education mafia.
Promise of free electricity and increase in pension
Tejashwi Yadav said that if his government is formed, the Social Security Pension Scheme will be increased from Rs 400 to Rs 1500. Also, he promised to provide up to 200 units of free electricity to the people of Bihar. He stressed that even while being in opposition, RJD will continue to fight for the demand of 200 units of free electricity in Bihar.
His party’s struggle for teachers continues
The RJD leader spoke openly on the issue of teachers. He claimed that during his 17-month government, five lakh jobs were given and employed teachers were regularized. Tejashwi promised that in future also his party will continue to fight for the rights of teachers.
If government is formed then development works will be expedited
Tejashwi Yadav said that if his government is formed, development works will be expedited and Bihar will be taken towards a better future. Taking a dig at Nitish Kumar and the BJP government, he said that their policies are pushing Bihar towards backwardness, while RJD wants to work on public issues. Tejashwi said that farmers are committing suicide, but the government is not doing anything. Tejashwi has claimed to bye the NDA in the Bihar Assembly in 2025 while forming the India Coalition government.
