Big Naxalite encounter in Bijapur

There has been a big encounter between police and Naxalites in the National Park area of Bijapur just before the three -tier panchayat elections. Police Security Force has killed 12 Naxalites on the Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border. It is said that more than 12 Naxalites have been killed in this encounter. At the same time, two soldiers were sacrificed and two soldiers were also injured. MI-17 helicopter has been sent from Jagdalpur to evacuate the injured soldiers. Sundar Raj, IGP of Bastar division, has confirmed the encounter. The number of killed Naxalites may also increase.
