Vijender told PTI, “Whenever there are elections, I would like to stand in them. I have struggled all my life, this will be another fight for me. I do not know whether I will get support or not, but I am not afraid of contesting elections. “He said,” If I get a chance to change, I will do my best on my behalf but this does not mean that I am going to retire as a player. I will never do this. ”
Earlier, this star boxer said in a post on his X account that it is necessary to practice abroad for Indian boxers to perform well. His remarks came a few days after the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) handed over the delay in the BFI elections to the federation’s working committee.
