Benjamin Netanyahu Said- “Israel Will Remain US Ally Regardless Of Presidential Election Outcome”

Benjamin Netanyahu:

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, has given a big statement pertaining to America to all over the world during these days, where election campaigns are in full swing in America. Meanwhile, Joe Biden has refused to contest the elections this time. After which it is being said that Kamala Harris of Indian origin will replace him. Meanwhile, Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu, a very close ally country of America, has said a big thing. He said that Israel will always remain an ally of the United States. We are committed to our alliance with America regardless of the results of the presidential election. This statement of Netanyahu has come when he is on a visit to America.

The Israeli PM tweeted on social media platform X, writing, “As I leave for the US tour, I thanked President Biden for helping Israel during the war. I look forward to my important meeting with the President.” Netanyahu further said that I am leaving for America at a time when Israel is fighting on seven fronts and there is great political uncertainty in Washington. I will address both houses of Congress for the fourth time as the PM of Israel.

‘No matter who the American people elect as president, Israel will remain a strong ally’

Netanyahu said, “I will tell my friends on both sides of the aisle that no matter who the American people choose as their next president, Israel will remain America’s indispensable and strongest ally in the Middle East.”

Praising US President Joe Biden, Netanyahu said, “This will be an opportunity to thank Biden for all he has done for Israel during his long and distinguished career in public service as a senator, vice president and president, and to discuss with him how to move forward in the crucial months ahead.”

First US visit amid war with Hamas

It is worth noting that Netanyahu is visiting America amidst the Israel and Hamas war. He will meet US President Joe Biden here on Tuesday. He will also address both houses of the US Parliament on Wednesday.

UN relief agency declared a terrorist organization in Israel

The Israeli parliament gave preliminary approval on Monday to a bill to declare the key UN agency that provides relief to Palestinians a terrorist organisation, a move that would see Israel sever ties with the body.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is working prominently for Palestinian refugees. UNRWA provides education, health and assistance to millions of Palestinians in Gaza, West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Israeli leaders have accused it of collaborating with Hamas in Gaza. The vote against it is considered to be Israel’s latest step to put pressure against the agency.

The Knesset Information Service said the bill would be sent to the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee for further deliberations. The bill was introduced by Israeli lawmaker Yisrael Beitenu. It has long had tense relations with Israel but relations have deteriorated sharply since the war in Gaza began and Israel has repeatedly called for the disbanding of UNRWA.
