The internet is full of such videos in which Hindi speaking people in the city are disliked and on many occasions it even leads to scuffles. In such a situation, a video is viral on social media which has again started the debate among the people regarding Hindi and Kannada language. In the video, Bengaluru auto drivers are seen asking for higher fare for speaking Hindi, whereas they are charging less money from Kannada speaking people and are even ready to allow them to sit in the auto.
Auto driver asked for higher fare from Kannada speaking woman
Linguistic conflict is not new in Bengaluru. A video in Bengaluru has once again highlighted the Hindi-Kannada language dispute. In the video, some auto drivers allegedly charged higher fare from a Hindi-speaking female passenger than from a Kannada-speaking customer. This incident has once again rekindled the hatred towards Hindi speaking people in the city and social media users have once again got into a linguistic debate. The internet market has become hot again regarding Hindi and Kannada.
Refused to even sit in the auto
The video begins with two women trying to stop an auto rickshaw across the city, one of whom speaks in Hindi and the other in Kannada. In one case, a driver turned down a Hindi-speaking woman, but accepted a Kannada-speaking woman when she had to go to the same destination. The other driver initially asked for Rs 300 from the Hindi-speaking woman, but after being asked in Kannada, she reduced the fare to Rs 200. The third driver ignored the Hindi speaking woman, but agreed to take the Kannada speaking woman.

Users were furious
The video has been shared from an Instagram account named JINAL MODI, which has been viewed more than 5.3 million times so far, while the video has been liked more than 1 lakh 48 thousand times. In such a situation, social media users are making various types of comments regarding the video. One user wrote…people of Bengaluru have crossed the limit. Another user wrote…Is Bengaluru in a different country? So another user wrote… There is no need to go out of the country to suffer discrimination, go to Bengaluru.
