An edited picture on social media is viral from the claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to travel by taxi during the tour of France.
Boom found in his investigation that viral picture is edited by PM Modi’s claim of insult. The picture visited PM Modi’s Vatican City on 31 October 2021, where he met Pope Francis, the supreme religious leader of Catholic Christians.
In the viral picture, PM Modi can be seen descending from the car of the Volkswagen Company with FD 330 MP number. He is also accompanied by a security officer. Swiss guards are also seen in the picture.

Fact check
To check the claim, we searched the viral picture on Google on a reverse image. During the search, we found a picture posted by news agency ANI on X, in which the view of the front is seen.
According to ANI, this picture is in October 2021 during PM Modi’s meeting with Pope Francis in Vatican City.
During the search, we also found a video of PM Modi’s Vatican City tour on ANI’s X handle. In this video, the visual of viral image can be seen.

On examining the real picture and viral picture of the tour, we came to know that the viral picture has been edited. The actual picture does not have a blue plate under the number plate on the car.
When we searched the reverse image of the blue plate frame, it was found that this plate is from the online taxi service provider company called IT Taxi. Which serves in Italy.
Apart from this, we did not get any such news on searching Google with keywords, which told that PM Modi had to tour by taxi during the tour of France.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on an official visit to France on 10 -12 February. There he co-presumed the AI Action Summit held in Paris. PM Modi also inaugurated the Consul General of India in Marseli.
