Samajwadi Party’s star campaigner MP Dimple Yadav came to do a road show on Thursday in support of SP candidate Ajit Prasad in Milkipur by -election. The convoy of the road show was about nine kilometers from Kumarganj to Milkipur Petrol Pump. At around four in the evening, the convoy entered the border of Inayatnagar police station area. There were several SUV vehicles in the convoy with about 150 two wheelers and 150 four wheel vehicles.
Alok Kumar Singh, a sub -inspector of Inayatnagar police station posted in the system, alleged that a total of 85 vehicles were allowed for the convoy. It applied only for 50 two -wheeler, 25 four wheelers small vehicles and 10 SUVs. Sound extension instruments were also being used more than acceptance.
On the National Highway 330A, the vehicles of SP workers on both the tracks on Sahulara Tiraha kept coming towards Inayatnagar, while the road show was allowed from one side itself. This disrupted the system of traffic and violated the instructions of the Election Commission using excessive crowds and vehicles.
