Mahakumbh 2025 Live: Mahakumbh has started in Prayagraj on the auspicious occasion of Paush Purnima. Lakhs of devotees will take a dip in Triveni Sangam today. Enthusiasm is being seen in the minds of devotees regarding the biggest religious festival of Hindu religion. Starting from January 13, the holy festival of Mahakumbh will continue till February 26. It is believed that this Mahakumbh has come after 144 years and hence it is considered very special. The first Amrit Snan (royal bath) of Mahakumbh will be held on January 14. According to Hindu mythology, taking a dip in Mahakumbh washes away all the sins of a person and gives him spiritual knowledge.
