Let us tell you that Hima Das made her name in the world of sports by winning the gold medal in the Under-20 400 meter race. After this, Hima Das came into limelight and after winning the gold medal at the age of just 18, her name started resonating. She won the gold medal with a timing of 51.46 seconds and interestingly, this was not Hima Das’s personal best performance.
He improved the Under-20 Championships by clocking 51.13 seconds at the National Inter-State Championships in Guwahati in December 2020. Currently, Hima Das holds the best record of 50.79 seconds in 400 meters. In the year 2018, he made this record in the Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia. During this period, Hima Das won the silver medal.
