New Delhi. Lenovo has introduced its latest Legion Tab (Gen 3) for global markets at CES 2025, which is the successor to the Gen 2 model after being introduced in China. It retains the 8.8-inch 2.5K LCD display, but has a 165Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Generation 3 SoC. The previous model had an 8+ Generation 1 SoC. It has 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. There’s also Legion Space, along with access to customizable settings in Game Assistant and Game Mode to enhance the gaming experience.
The tablet features a 14% larger Legion ColdFront vapor chamber to manage heat, pushing the boundaries of gaming performance. It has a 6550mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Lenovo Legion Tab (Generation 3) has been introduced in Eclipse Black color. Its price starts from $499.99 i.e. approximately Rs 42,905 and it is available for sale from this month.

Is Legion Tab only for gamers?
The device is being sold as a ‘Legion’ tablet, so you might think the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 3 is aimed squarely at gamers. It is a good thing for gamers that some extra features and specs have been included in it for them. However, this does not mean that Lenovo Legion Tab 3 is only for gamers.
For example, the Legion Tab features a vapor chamber designed to provide cooling and performance to the tablet during long gaming sessions. This is very helpful for gamers, but it is also something that everyone can take advantage of. It also has two USB-C passthrough ports – if you want to charge the Legion Tab as well as connect it to a monitor, you can do so so you have a bigger screen for your games. This tab is useful for gamers, but non-gamers can also take advantage of its features.
