The matter pertains to the Shiv temple of Bharohiya in Khajni police station area, where this wedding ceremony was organized.

According to media reports, 40-year-old farmer Kamlesh Kumar, resident of Govindpur village in Sitapur district, had reached Gorakhpur for the second time after the death of his first wife with the hope of settling his house. During this time, he found a relationship through a broker, and for this relationship it is being told that Kamlesh had also given 30 thousand rupees to the broker. After consulting the family, Kamlesh had reached Khajni in Gorakhpur on January 3 to tie the knot, but during the rounds, his bride-to-be went to the toilet and ran away with cash and jewelery on the pretext of defecation.
