Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference on Monday. Kejriwal has announced Pujari and Granthi Samman Yojana. Arvind Kejriwal will start registration for this scheme from Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place.

Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘The name of the scheme that I am going to announce today is Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana. Under this, there is a provision to give honorarium every month to the priests of temples and the priests of Gurudwara…they will be given honorarium of about Rs 18,000 per month.

Kejriwal wrote on Twitter, ‘If the Aam Aadmi Party wins, the priests of the temples in Delhi and the Granthis of Gurudwara Sahib will be given an honorarium of ₹ 18,000 per month. This scheme is a tribute to their spiritual contribution to the society and their efforts to preserve our cultural heritage. Also attacking BJP, he said that people of BJP should not try to stop this, it will be a big sin.
