The cold wave period will continue in Uttar Pradesh. For Saturday also, the Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning for more than 30 districts. There is a possibility of extreme cold and frost in the Terai areas. On Friday, the night temperature in the western areas of the state dropped to around 5 to 7 degrees.

The maximum temperature in Orai on Friday was 27.8 degrees Celsius. Whereas in Bahraich and Varanasi the maximum temperature was 25.2 degrees Celsius. Talking about the minimum temperature, apart from Ayodhya, the temperature was 5 degrees Celsius in Najibabad and 5.2 degrees Celsius in Etawah.
