With the improvement in Delhi’s air quality, Group 3 and 4 restrictions have been lifted in Delhi. Now only Group 2 restrictions are applicable in Delhi. In such a situation, the Directorate of Education of Delhi Government has issued an order regarding the resumption of normal classes in schools. The order said that all government, government aided, unaided recognized private schools are informed that the circulars or related orders issued have been cancelled. Thus all classes in all schools are to be conducted in physical mode with immediate effect.

Let us tell you that the Air Quality Commission of the Center has abolished the GRAP implemented in Delhi. It has been canceled as Delhi’s air quality improved on Thursday. This information came out in an official order. Now only the second phase of GRP and its restrictions will be applicable in Delhi NCR. This will include restrictions like ban on the use of coal and wood in industries and commercial establishments. Earlier on Thursday morning, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Delhi’s air pollution issue, in which the Supreme Court talked about relaxing the rules of Group 4 and 3.

Let us tell you that there was a lot of improvement in the air quality of Delhi on Thursday. Delhi’s air quality reached 165 i.e. moderate category on Thursday. AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, AQI between 51-100 is satisfactory, AQI between 101 and 200 is moderate, AQI between 201-300 is poor, AQI between 301-400 is very poor and AQI between 401-500 is severe. Is considered in the category. Phases 3 and 4 of GRAP ban the entry of trucks carrying non-essential goods unless they run on CNG, LNG or BS4 diesel.
