Youth went ‘missing’ after accusing police officer of framing him, returned home after 15 hours

A 25-year-old man, who went ‘missing’ from his home after posting a video accusing a Mumbai Police officer of falsely implicating him, returned on Monday 15 hours later. The family members were busy searching for him. A complaint was made to the police but on Monday, after more than 15 hours, the young man suddenly returned.

Shubham Ojha had posted a video on social media claiming that at the behest of her live-in partner, a police officer registered a case and harassed her and extorted money from her. Shubham’s father contacted Ghatkopar police on Monday morning and lodged a missing complaint. After that the police started searching for this 25 year old youth.

Shubham wanted to commit suicide by jumping on the railway track

In a video, Shubham said that if he dies then Mumbai Police will be responsible for it. A police officer said that Shubham returned home on Monday afternoon. He said that Shubham had planned to commit suicide by jumping on the railway track, but later changed his mind. He said that the allegations made by Shubham will be verified. (with language inputs)
