Shahi Jama Masjid’s lawyer asked for copies of documents
Shahi Jama Masjid Committee’s lawyer Shakeel Ahmed Wasim said that copies of the documents had been sought in the court on behalf of the mosque, which will now be received after the court order. He also clarified that now no other survey of the mosque will be conducted. The court has fixed the next hearing of this case on January 8. During this, the survey report will be presented and the arguments of both the parties will be heard. Since the matter is sensitive, there is strict monitoring of the court on all the parties.

Hearing in Chandaisi Court: Court Commissioner asked for time
Hearing in the Shahi Jama Masjid case of Sambhal was held in Chandausi Court on Thursday. During this, lawyers of both the parties appeared in the court. In the court, the lawyers of the Mosque Committee demanded from the other party to provide copies of the documents related to the case, which was accepted by the court. During the hearing, the Court Commissioner asked for some more time to present the survey report. He said that the report has not been ready yet and additional time is required to complete it.

He said that the survey report was not presented today. The survey team has demanded extension of time for submitting the report. Now there will be no other survey of the mosque.

The police administration appeared alert since Thursday. CO Santosh Kumar and Kotwal Renu Singh along with heavy police had carried out surveillance through drone cameras in Muslim dominated areas like Laxman Ganj, Sikri Gate, Pajaya, Jarai Gate, Sambhal Gate etc. Bricks and stones were found lying on the roofs of many houses. Due to which the police immediately got the house owners removed the bricks and stones from the roofs.

Sambhal Mosque Dispute: All roads leading to court sealed
The help of drone cameras is also being taken for the security of the court. Talks have also been held with the lawyers and an appeal has been made for cooperation. Since 8 am on Friday, all the roads leading to the court including Shaktinagar, Munsif Road and the housing development adjacent to the court have been barricaded and sealed. Common man will not be given entry on this side.

There was violence last Sunday, five people lost their lives
The court appointed Court Commissioner Ramesh Singh Raghav on November 19 and ordered a survey (commission) to be conducted and fixed the hearing for November 29. The Court Commissioner had reached Shahi Jama Masjid the same evening to conduct the survey with the team. After this, last Sunday morning, when the DM and SP arrived again for the survey under the protection, there was an uproar in Sambhal. In which five people lost their lives.
