Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma had repeatedly raised the issue of the “plight” of Jharkhand’s tribal community due to alleged large-scale infiltration of Muslims from Bangladesh. Sharma was BJP’s election co-in-charge for Jharkhand.
