The police installed CCTV at the incident site and examined the camera footage. After watching the footage, everyone’s eyes were wide open in surprise. It could be clearly seen in the video that a small mongoose was cleverly coming inside the school and taking away the colorful shoes of the children with itself. “It’s very good that it turned out not to be a human being,” Deputy Police Chief Hiroaki Inada told The Associated Press on Sunday. Teachers and parents feared that he might be a troubled person who was fond of shoes.
