New Delhi: ‘The Sabarmati Report’ made on the Godhra incident of Gujarat has now been made tax free in Uttar Pradesh also after Gujarat. After watching the film, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced to make it tax free. Actress Rashi Khanna has expressed happiness and thanked him. Expressing ‘heartfelt thanks’ to CM Yogi, actress Raashi Khanna said, ‘He took out time to watch the film and encouraged us a lot. CM has said many good things about the film. This has definitely increased our confidence.
Appealing to everyone to watch the film, Rashi said, ‘You all go and watch the film and know the truth. I can say with confidence that you will like this film very much. When I read the script of the film, I came to know about the truth of Godhra. I can say that you too must go to watch this truth-filled film. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath watched ‘The Sabarmati Report’ on Thursday 21 November. After watching the film, he said, ‘I congratulate the entire team of ‘The Sabarmati Report’, who have tried to bring this reality before the people of the country through the film. Every Indian should watch ‘The Sabarmati Report’ and know the truth of Godhra. Along with this, CM Yogi announced to make the film tax free in Uttar Pradesh.
‘The Sabarmati Report’ becomes tax free in many states
CM Yogi along with Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak reached the cinema hall of Plasio Mall in Lucknow to watch the film. Other leaders were also seen with him. The film’s actors Vikrant Massey and Raashi Khanna were also present on the special occasion. Earlier on Tuesday, Vikrant Massey had met CM Yogi. Raashi Khanna, Vikrant Massey and Riddhi Dogra starrer ‘The Sabarmati Report’ has been made tax free in many states of the country. Till now the film has become tax free in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. ‘The Sabarmati Report’ is directed by Ranjan Chandel. Vikrant Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra are in lead roles in the film. This film is based on the Godhra incident that took place in 2002. The producer of the film, which was released in theaters on November 15, is Ekta Kapoor.
