New Delhi. Xiaomi is working on its new mid-range smartphone POCO X7 Pro, which could be the first device to come with HyperOS 2.0 in India. According to a report, this phone will run on HyperOS 2.0 custom skin based on Android 15. Earlier, Xiaomi 15 was launched in China with HyperOS 2.0.
According to SmartPrix report, Xiaomi 15 has been launched in China with HyperOS 2.0 and it can be introduced in India by March 2025. But there is a possibility that POCO X7 Pro may arrive in India before that i.e. by January 2025. It is worth noting that POCO X6 Pro was launched in India in January 2024, so it is expected that POCO X7 Pro can also be launched in the Indian market around the same time.
What will be the rebranded version of Redmi Note 14 Pro?
According to the information so far, POCO X7 Pro may actually be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 14 Pro. In such a situation, features like Redmi Note 14 Pro+ can be found in it. Xiaomi has already confirmed the launch of the Redmi Note 14 series in December, so the POCO X7 and POCO X7 Pro are likely to arrive in India a month later. This wouldn’t be anything new considering the company’s history, as Xiaomi often offers multiple variants of the same phone under its sub-brands with minor differences.
Possible specifications of POCO X7 Pro
If POCO Talking about the camera, it may have a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto lens and 8MP ultrawide sensor. Apart from this, it is likely to have Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and a large 6,200mAh battery, which will support 90W fast charging.
