Passengers traveling on the Yellow Line of Delhi Metro should pay attention, train services on this route will be affected till November 19.

New Delhi: Metro services will remain affected in a part of the Yellow Line of Delhi Metro till November 19. According to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), metro services on the Yellow Line will be temporarily affected from the night of November 14 to November 19 due to civil work on the 490 meter long section from Janakpuri West to R.K.Ashram. Metro services will be affected due to construction work on the 490 meter long section.

Three metro stations will also remain closed

DMRC tweeted on its official Along with this, three stations – Samaypur Badli, Rohini Sector 18-19 and Haiderpur Badli Mor – will remain closed till 7.02 am till the restoration of service.

Metro will run without interruption on the remaining parts of the Yellow Line

However, metro services on the remaining sections of the Yellow Line from Jahangirpuri to Gurugram’s Millennium City Center will continue to run uninterrupted during this period. It said that to reduce inconvenience, announcements will be made at stations and inside the metro, giving passengers information about the train’s destination and platform.

Timing also changed on this route

The first train at Samaypur Badli – Millennium City Center Gurugram will be available at 7.02 minutes and the last train at 10.45 minutes. On the Millennium City Center Gurugram – Samaypur Badli route, the first train will be available at 6 am and the last train will be available at 9.30 pm. On Jahangirpuri-Samaypur Badli route, the first metro service will be available at 7.07 minutes and the last metro service will be available at 10.45. Whereas, on Jahangirpuri – Millennium City Center Gurugram route, the first train will be available at 6.10 minutes and the last train will be available at 11.07 minutes. Metro will be available at 6 am on the Millennium City Center Gurugram – Jahangirpuri route. Whereas at night it will be available last till 11 pm.

Delhi Metro said DMRC always gives priority to passenger convenience during challenging engineering projects that involve crossing up and down the operational corridors. These construction projects are carefully planned at night, within a limited time frame after passenger services almost end and are completed by the time passenger services start the next day.
