What is the claim?
A picture is going viral on social media in which it is written on the back of two auto rickshaws parked on the road, “Kejriwal will be driven out of Delhi”. By sharing this picture, former Chief Minister of Delhi and National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal is being targeted saying that now the auto drivers of Delhi have come out against Arvind Kejriwal.
BJP Delhi Posted the picture on his official account (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Delhi people have decided to drive out Kejriwal! #AAP_Hatao_Delhi_Bachao.” BJP leader shared this picture Kapil Mishra Many people including him have shared it. Archived versions of these posts Here And Here See.

How did we find out the truth?
On doing reverse image search of the viral picture, we get this Wikimedia Commons page, where it was shared on April 9, 2013. However, in this picture, on the back of the auto rickshaw, it is not written ‘Kejriwal will be driven away from Delhi’, but ‘When will Ayush Gupta Akansha come home’?
We noticed that apart from the text behind the auto rickshaw, all other elements are similar in the viral image and the 2013 image.

(Source: X/Wikimedia/Screenshot)According to the information given along with the photo on the Wikimedia Commons page, this photo was taken by Subhashish Panigrahi in Delhi’s Hauz Khas area on April 9, 2013. Subhashish Is a documentary filmmaker, multimedia artist and researcher.
We also checked the EXIF data and it revealed that the photo is from 2013 and was taken near Hauz Khas in Delhi.

Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi auto rickshaw Drivers have been getting support for a long time. Recently, the party ‘Auto Samvad Campaign’ Started, the objective of which was to establish maximum contact with auto drivers.

From our investigation so far, it has become clear that the picture through which Delhi BJP is targeting Arvind Kejriwal has actually been edited. There is nothing written against Kejriwal in the original picture.
