BSNL added new customers with them in no time.
Government company BSNL has been in the limelight for the last 6-7 months in the telecom sector. Ever since private companies have increased the prices of their recharge plans, the good days of BSNL have returned. How BSNL has made a comeback in this sector can be gauged from the information given by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. The Union Minister told in Parliament that BSNL has added 55 lakh new customers with him in the last six months.
Giving information about BSNL in Rajya Sabha, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the government is constantly making efforts to bring the government company into profit and increase the number of subscribers. According to the Kandal Minister, for the first time from June to February 2025, the number of subscribers of the company has increased from 8.55 crores to 9.1 crore.
BSNL is celebrating ‘Customer Service Month’
He said that the company is constantly improving its service to provide better facilities to customers. Keeping this in mind, the government company has announced to celebrate April as a ‘Customer Service Month’. This whole month, the company will prepare to provide better service from its customers from across the country to take feedback. It was told by BSNL that all the circles and units of the company will participate in it.
The biggest objective behind celebrating ‘Customer Service Month’ is to improve the quality of mobile network as well as to awaken interest among people towards broadband. This whole month the company will take feedback from customers through its website and social media. Feedback from customers will be reviewed by the chairman of BSNL.
Work will soon start on 5G network
Let us tell you that BSNL is constantly improving its network. The company has set a target of installation of 1 lakh 4G towers by June 2025. The company has completed the work of about 80 thousand towers and soon the remaining towers will also be completed. As soon as the 4G towers work is completed, the government company will work on 5G network. Let us tell you that the 4G towers of BSNL are completely indigenous and have been designed in such a way that they can be converted to 5G.
