Pairs like Govinda-Rawina Tandon, Amitabh-Jaya Bachchan, Govinda-Karishma Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol have been superhit. Some of them have worked together in three, and some have worked together in more than five films. But the pair we are talking about today has worked together in 130 films, not 10-20. This is the reason that his name is also recorded in the Guinness World Record.
The pair we are talking about is not of the Hindi film industry, but of the Malayalam film industry. This pair is known as Prem-Shaila. He worked together in more than 130 films in his career and half of these films were super hit at the box office.
Name recorded in Guinness World Record
Prem-Shaila’s name is recorded in the world’s biggest record book Guinness World Record. Malayalam actor Prem Nazir and actress Sheela worked together in about 130 films from 1962 to 1981. This is a unique record in itself. But in 1983, Sheela got married with a break from films and settled abroad. At the same time, Prem Nazir passed away in 1989.
Let me tell you that Prem Nazir has a record of working in more than 700 films, which has not been able to break any actor till now.
